Welsh Three Peaks Challenge

The Welsh Three Peaks Challenge, lesser known than the National or Yorkshire Challenges, takes in the three peaks of Wales: Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) in the North, Cadair Idris in mid-Wales, and Pen y Fan in the South.

While Snowdon is the highest peak in Wales, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan are much lower, and are chosen for their position rather than height.

See Snowdon, Cadair Idris, and Pen y Fan on Walking Challenges.

To promote the Welsh Challenge, a Welsh Three Peaks website has been set up.
